Bang! "You shall not kill" says the gunNick Johnson
Nick: Do you think that it was a bad idea to make you?
Gun: Yes and No. I’m glad that I’m here now but I would not like to be here if I had a choice because of what I’m used for.
Nick: How do you feel about being a fatal weapon used to kill people and animals everywhere?
Gun: I think I was made for a good cause at first. That cause was self-defense, but now people have turned nasty and used me and my purpose for terrible things. I wish I wasn’t made because I’m used for the evil of the earth. But I’m just a weapon. People control me; I don't control myself.
Nick: What do you say to your critics and people that hate and despise you and think you should be destroyed forever?
Gun: All I can say is maybe I should and maybe I shouldn’t. Guns don’t kill people; people kill people.
Nick: Are you saying that you don’t have anything to do with killing?
Gun: I’m not saying anything like that. I’m part of the problem, but people have to be part of the solution, and if I get banned forever then so be it.
Nick: What do you feel, if anything, when you shoot and kill someone or some animal?
Gun: The pain just overwhelms me and weighs on me heavily. I get a deep pit in my barrel. I can’t get over it either because it just happens and happens. I don’t know how a madman who wasn’t thinking conjured me up for such terrible use. Nick: What do you think about people nowadays?
Gun: I think people are getting worse and worse everyday. Their morals are going down the toilet. How could people not think and feel bad about killing another living thing? Their conscience is gone. Younger generations have to pick up the slack before it’s too late.
Nick: What do you think is going to happen in the future as far as fighting a war is concerned?
Gun: I think that for one, war is terrible and my advice is that no one should ever get involved with it. I think that that in the near future there will be a nuclear bombs race. You know I follow the news. I think the United States will get into an issue with Iran or North Korea. Then other countries will start jumping on either side and then there will be World War three and four. It will be the biggest bloodbath in history if the world doesn’t get it together. I don’t want to be used for killing anything else.
Nick: What do you think about current news as far as the war in Iraq and the London bombings?
Gun: I think that the war in Iraq is bad and good. It’s bad because other countries shouldn’t impose their will on a country that’s not theirs. The United States also shouldn’t still be there. They should let Iraq handle Iraq. However it’s good that we went there also because we took out Saddam Hussein and stopped him from doing anything to people in his country and things to people in the rest of the world. Also we have to stay in Iraq until Iraq has enough of a military and police force. To me, the bombings in London just illustrate the effects of terrorism in other places and not just in the United States. This is an eye opener to other countries to watch out for terrorism and that the United States is not the big bad overpowering country that everyone thinks we are.
Nick: What do you hope will happen with guns and people in the future?
Gun: I hope that guns and people can live side-by-side with each other without war or violence. I hope that there is world peace and that I don’t have to shoot another soul as long as I exist. |
