My Mom

Briana Langley

I would like to describe my mom. I would like to describe her because she drives me everywhere and she is also very supportive of my skating.

My mom gets up at 2 :30 every morning to drive me to practice. After I skate, she drives me to school and then goes to work. On Mondays, Wednesdays and, Fridays, my mom picks me up from school and then takes me home so I can get ready to go skating. Once I’m ready my mom drives me to the rink so I can skate for 2 more hours.

On Saturdays she drives me to Polar Ice Peoria so I can train with another coach up there. On Sundays my mom drives me to the rink so I can skate for 2 hours.

Once, when I had a competition in Las Vegas, all the flights were full because of some event that was going on. My mom drove all night until we got to our hotel at 1:30 in the morning. All the hotels (close to the rink) were full so we drove 90 minutes from the hotel to the ice rink where I was competing. Then we drove all the way back to Tucson. Whenever have a competition in Phoenix, my mom drives there and back more than once a day if I’m in a certain amount of groups. That is how my mom supports my skating and I love her for that.
